also, it should be a rebuy. Get the fucking moronic braindead carcass fucking dick licking cunt suckers money in early so people that dont spend half their day drooling on themselves can get it at the end, by good I mean the 3 or 4 people that are at least ok at the game of no-limit hold em that play at badger poker.
If I am going to play something for 8 hours, I appreciate a larger than 30-50 buy-in. But i relaize, most "poker" players at bp are broke tards that can barely afford 10 bucks!!
I also have to agree with Scotty on the wed $30. I found it to have room for play at the final table. Much better than any other tourney around here. VFW you are shoving or folding with 2 tables left!! I can understand you guys wanting a slow deep-stacked tournament. Creates alot more room for making plays, and countering variance. I personally would like it too, but for a lot larger stakes than anyone at bp would play for. $100 dollar deepstack tournaments sounds delicious to me!! But there are also approaches to playing tournaments with faster blinds. I personally dont see why you guys wouldnt play the 30 dollar on wed. ROI should be pretty good. Im 2 out of 5 for first place. I guess if I placed, i won, but that ws the style i chose to play to win, not to grind. But the field is pretty beatable, even given the blind structure.
actually, mostly id have to say personally, my edge is much bigger in a shortstacked tourney because ive so many more tournaments than most and have better stack management than 99% of the people at bp and my shove-bot ranges are more intuned than most others as well.
with that said, i hate losing one pot and then being in pushmode in the 1st hour. i also lack patience in those tournaments an try to build a stack so i can lose some flips. which inevidably, busts me.
id prefer something that allows me to make some mistakes, because, i make a lot.
ummm I was chip leader with two tables left [pbv brag post] and had somewhere around 25, CHIP LEADER, my guess is average stack was like 12 blinds, not exactly the same as you put it. The germans on full tilt play real bad btw
Lefty said, "Other than Andy K-Fed Kalin winning last week, the players that are making the money are good solid players" ------ I love that K-Fed is so widely accepted to be so outrageously terrible that even the tournament director does not think twice about saying it in a public forum.
