Ben - I can understand you guys were drunk and most of the time I don't care. Just a week before I went to buy a drink from the bar and you told me to shut the fuck up. So right then and there was how I felt about you. This tournament may have not been serious to everyone but it was to me I am sure others that may not deserve to be maybe including me were still in (Bev). This tournament is only once a year and just wanted to get through with out all the stuff going on. You probably are a great player and I was just venting I guess. Everyone plays there own style that works for them. I am not perfect and work on my flaws.

Dodging Donkey - I am not sure what to say to you but that this thread is not me talking about or ment to being any better then anyone else or saying in someway that I am great because of a freeroll BP tourney finish. IT WAS SIMPLY HOW THE BUSTED PLAYERS BUSTED OUT AND ACTED THAT NIGHT. Maybe I should go reread my first post because I am sure I didn't say the things your making it out I said.

I also didnt list my poker resume but if you want to know more about me. I have been around all different types of players and I am sure there no different anywhere else. Before BP I played cash tourneys in Madison for a while before I even found BP. I was still new and learning. I had my daughter and moved back to CT. Along with going to Foxwoods couple of times a month and yea it was very crazy but awesome poker room. If you visit don't play the 1/2 tables player higher or sit and gos, are really good. There wasn't anything like Bp where I liked. So I ran a weekly cash tournament on Mondays at the town bar POKERHUSKY $25 with rebuys for first hour and took 10% off for the finals and in which top player played for in the final for free. We usually got 4 tables of 8 or more and I played as well. ON wed and thurs also played a weekly cash tounrney $15 on wed and thurs elks game with around 80 players on wed and on thurs 150. Fridays we had a home game with guys from all round. Once a month tournaments on last sunday of the month and thats pretty much it. My g/f def didnt like this so I slowed down when we moved back. I also knew alot more people in CT. I don't have alot of experience but enough to tell a decent/bad/great/cocky/drunk player.

Well i didnt really want a poker bio, but ok. I shouldnt really comment on the thread as I wasnt there Sunday, and dont know how bad the behavior was. But Ben has said he was drunk, and not proud of everthing that happened, I find Ben to be a stand up guy, most of the time. My comments are a reaction to your first post. You made comments about Dawg's play, you made comments about Ben's play. You made comments about the BP freeroll play in general. Your tone was that from what you have seen of that play, your play was equal to or not better than Dawgs and Bens. This to me is whipping out the poker cock, and seeing whose is bigger. Thats how i took it. I tried to point out in a indirect and nice way, that everyone I know at BP whips out the poker cock time to time. In fact, that attitude goes along with poker players. I also tried to point out that you shoudlnt base your evaluation of your play and their play in the context of the BP free roll.

Most players play badly drunk. Most players are cocky. If someone calls you bad, it may not necessarily be true. If you feel the need to make a thread explaining you aren't bad, its more likely to be true. Ive been called bad many times at BP, by players that usually dont have a clue. Which is good for me. However, let me just end with this. I think Ben is an excellent poker player. I don't know your game well enough to comment. Im sure i've sat at a table with you, but when its the freeroll, you aren't going to leave much of an impression on me. But I find it very hard to imagine that you are a better player than Ben. So when you tell him he isnt that good, I kind of have to question all of your points don't I?

I have to admit I love your posts. But, I cant seem to get through to you that the post was about the behavior of that night. I don't have to prove anything to anyone. Come on look at me if I cared what people thought I wouldnt go out and stay home and jerk off all day. I would sit here and post all day long for fun. Unfortunalty I work from home and could do this stuff anyways. I agree you can't judge a players skill through BP freerolls and most players play badly drunk as do I. Ben said if he could he would take it back and I am cool with that. Ben is a great player and so on and so BUT still told me to shut the fuck up when I simpley was buying a drink. I will end with I didnt mean anything more then that they shouldnt have acted like that during that tourney sorry if it came out differently I was pissed. It didn't affect my gameplay or outcome. I suck big hairy balls in poker. THE END

I am not Missy, but Scuba Steve. Maybe the attractive Shauna Hiatt photo is confusing my gender. :) Can't help, it, she's awesome. And I admire you calling out behavior that isnt very cool. The BP freeroll is meant for people of all skill levels and experience to come out and play. Berating anyone is in poor taste, especially Bev, who is as nice as she can be. And she has obviously mastered BP free roll play. I can't be too hard on anyone who gets drunk and berates bad play however, as I do it myself. And its quite fun at times. I love doing it at the 1-2 game. Just for amusement sake. But at the 1-2 game, they all play for money, so beratement is much more appropiate!!

Well, I don't really remember telling you to shut the fuck up, which tells me either I wasn't serious or once again...yeah, drunk, haha. But I don't have a problem with you Joe. I took Sunday as serious as anyone there, I can promise you that...and that probably has a lot to do with my reaction after busting. I was not in a good mood and booze amplifies that. I already said I apologize if you were offended, and not a lot else I can do other that. I can't promise I won't be a drunk idiot again, in fact I can almost assure you that I will be.

But do you see how not being in a good mood made you attack my play?
