They traded their entire farm system for a 300 pound pitcher. But the move should improve thier chances at a playoff spot considering they play in the weak national league. Those AL playoffs sure will be fun to watch. I can't wait for the CUBS-WHITESOX series this year!! -

Actually we didnt even give them either of our top two prospects. We made a good trade if we want to win now, which we do, even though we probly wont pay him or sheets next year we will we a favorite in the n.l. now. Your living a delusional world if you think its gonna be a chi-town showdown..................... f the cubs. -

Dawwwwwwwwwwg They gave up not only their #1 Prospect but the #1 prospect in all of baseball according to Baseball Prospectus. Matt Laporta is gonna be a stud. Thanks to the Brewers for doing something because I really thought the Cubs were gonna stand pat. That gave the Cubs 3 weeks to do something. Koodos to the Cubs for getting the 2nd best pitcher available. Congrats to the Brewers for for being the favorite in the NL for a total of one day. Rich Harden is a stud. Cant wait for the slow roller between the mound and 1st base at Miller Park and watching the fattest players in baseball collide. The reverberations will be felt all the way to Madison -

I still liked the Cubs over Brewers before the Harden trade. Cubs - Whitesox world series bitches!! It will be 1906 all over again, as the underdog Whitesox beat a favored Cubs team that hasnt won in 100 years. Man its gonna be sweet!! -

I really do hope the Brewers get the wild card. Thats where Sabathia folds. The ace with a post season ERA of over 7 and like 3 other players on the team with any postseason experience. I guess those are key ingredients to being the favorite in the NL. Oh and BTW Prince Fielder will be a stud DH as well pretty soon. Amazing how the Brewers have this habit of farming these big power hitting studs that cant field -

Okay, seriously...if the Brewers would have traded two graham crackers for a reincarnated version of Willy fucking Mays the Chicago fans would still be on here talking shit, and of course vice versa. Let's see how it works out before we all act like we're Peter fucking Gammons.
The Cubs aren't going to win the world series, I mean seriously. Because they are they are the cubs. Which by the very definition of the words means they are fucking losers. The cubs get by with this loveable loser repututation that I think is just fucking pathetic. At least the Brewers can just be genuine losers, Christ.
