Dude, this movies is freaking amazing!!! I need to go see it again in the IMAX theater this time!! Im really bummed Heath Ledger wont be in a future movies in the series. I am willing to bet he wins an oscar.

My only complaint: the new Rachael is hideous. She cant act and she is uglier than sin!! Her face is all puffy like a cabbage patch doll, and everytime I had to endure her on the screen, I just kept asking myself "WHY is she ruining this great movie!!" Well she didnt ruin it, she couldnt even possibly. But I was gald she blew up!!!

I loved X-files back in the day, but this Dark Knight picture is something to behold.

And I didn't mind Maggie Gynellhall (sp?) as the new Rachel. Yeah, Katie Holmes is hotter...but then again Katie Holmes is also a horrible actress, and did way more to ruin the first one (although it was not ruined, and ultimately very good as well) than Maggie did hear. I mean, there are hot chicks in every movie. Do we really need every chick ever to be smokin' hot? (don't answer that) I mean I'm not crazy about her as an actress, but it didn't bother me. F Katie Holmes, she's fucking horrible.

But yes, I think Christian Bale is the best Batman ever (Michael Keaton a close second) and somehow Heath Ledger managed to not only out perform Jack Nicholson's Joker, but he managed to go so far above and beyond it. Heath is the story here, there's no doubt. Amazing performance that deserves...something. Holy crap. HIs performance is very comic booky, but yet routed in some very real world shit.

This is practically the perfect summer blockbuster. The X-files cannot be this good, although I think I will enjoy it too.

No Country for Old Men had absolutely no ending, and ruined the movie on a whole for me. But the great part of the movie was the villain. Didnt he win an oscar for that? But anyway, my point is, when i saw it, i was thinking, man, that is what a villain is. Boy, after watching Heath ledger in this movie, i feel really dumb for feeling that way!! I had no idea what a villain COULD BE. Now I know. A brilliant performance!! I plan to watch this a few more time before it leaves theaters!!

BTW, Heath's performance over shadows Christians Bale, who also had a great performance.

And Ben, I dont need anyone hot to be Rachael, or be Bruce Waynes life-long love, (although they should be, this is bruce 'freaking' wayne!!) But I do need someone that I dont cringe at everytime they put her on the screen. I kept thinking, if this is what she looks like after movie makeup, and cant imagine catching her out of the shower!! maybe this was the result of some freak comestic surgery gone wrong. She could have been a villain herself!! And Katie Holmes is no actor, but neither is the stay puft face actress they replaced her with!
