Ummmmmmmmm wasnt Batman created in like the 40's? Wasnt the original Batman movie released in like 1968? Any Batman movie without Adam West and Burt Ward is a fraud. This movie will bring back interest in the XFiles just like the stupid Micheal Keaton movie did for Batman. I mean wtf else has David Dochovney Chris Carter and Gillian Anderson been doing since the show ended?

WOW Scuba you really have a hardon for this movie dont you? I didnt compare the Batman franchise to XFiles only that when something was created is irrelevant. Someone whos opinion in movies I respect told me Heath Ledger is amazing but overall the movie isnt as good as everyone claims it to be. I havent seen it so if I decide to go I will make my own decision. I am not and never have been a huge comic book geek. I do think Hollywood nowadays is an absolute joke. 95% of the movies are remakes movies made from old TV shows or continuations of of old ideas. Until the lemmings stop filling movie theaters to see old ideas Hollywood will never need an original idea. That is all


Please don't ever compare the batman franchise to X files!!! Even in its heyday, i found X Files to be gimmicking. The gimmicks are wearing off. I dont BELIEVE!! Unless we are talking Journeys, "Don't stop believing!" Cuz that rings in my head everytime i think of my Whitesox world series!!

I hate Gillian Anderson. I find her character hard to "BELIEVE". Is she really going to be the SKEPTIC STILL! Ugh shoot me in the head!!

Only made a response to the comment that acted as if Batman was a new and original idea. Hollywood is such a fraud right now. 95% of everything coming out of there is a remake, a movie concocted from an old TV show or a continuation of a hit movie that was created using one of these two formulas. There hasnt been anything original in the form of movies or TV in years. As long as lemmings continue to fill movie theaters to see old worn out ideas Hollywood will never need an original thought again. I hear they are coming out with an LA Law movie and a Hillstreet Blues movie. And Im stuck in 1998?

They take the world that Batman lives in, they take his comic book villains, and they made it all "plausible". That is the genius of these 2 new movies. You watch, and it feels like this entire story could actually happen. On top of that, Heath Ledger shows you how real the joker could be.

Yes, i do have a hard-on for this movie, cuz its a damn near perfect movie!! When batman used a zip line to catch an airplane after grabbing the mob's accountant. I felt a little twitch in my pants. genius movie!!
