An actor has never won more than 1 oscar for a given role.

It was Frank Gorshin.....oh, and he played the Riddler....

I think you wanted to say that "Cesar Romero was the best joker ever!" Which is really not a good thing to say around comic book fans who have their mouth full. He would keep his moustache under this white makeup...but beyond that, he wasn't too bad...he had a good laugh. Number two behind Ledger might be Mark Hamill who did the Joker for the cartoon series...

Hey can you name the other actor who played the Riddler on the old series, without looking at IMDB? Hint: he played the head of a famous TV family...

Oh, one last thing....the IMDB movie ratings are weighted by time since release....so as time goes by, as more classic movies get rated, they usually rise again...When the Lord of the Rings movies came out, they were at the top spot too, but when an older movie gets a top rating, it has more weight to it, so I imagine you will Godfather pop back up....is Shawshank still number 1 out there...or above Godfather?

John Ashton? Oh and you are correct on both counts. It is Gorshin and he did play the Riddler. Great impressionist as well. By the way Jim Carey did the role well in the movie.

    POINTS!!!

John Astin is correct! (no penalty for spelling)

BTW, another trivia note, if Joker kissed Rachel Dawes in Dark Knight (I can't remeber if he smacked her one at the party), then this might be the first time an Actor has kissed a brother and sister on screen: Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

..on second thought, I'm probably wrong...I am not as knowledgable on porn....so limit the trivia bit to non-x rated features....
  4.
...if you like these tidbits, check out a movie called Spirits of the Dead from 1969, where Jane Fonda and Peter Fonda, sister and brother, play...people attracted to one another....um, yeah, kinda sick...I don't know if they have a heavy breathing scene or anything...probably not

ok, saw DK again last night (me = geek)...and there is no kiss! Damn! One good trivia question out the window.
