Hello! Welcome to another edition of "Bad Poker Theatre"....

Tonight we bring you a stunningly awful play from a recent session of poker....

"Playing in a .25/.50 ring game....betting through the turn, I'm not paying attention...I bet half the pot...this puts the other guy in for all but 10 cents....

He folds! With a card left! WTF! How freaking stupid! No chat saying: oh I hit the wrong button...nothing."

Yes...that is truly, stunningly awful! Bravo, I say!

If some of you fine chaps that would be so kind as to offer up the truly revolting plays you see? They should get their due in Bad Poker Theatre!

    4 handed to the flop.

FLOP: 10-7-4 (two diamonds) Check - check- check- Chucky bets half the pot. Scuba check-shoves a stack 2x pot. Chucky calls with 8-5 off suit.

And of course. we reward really bad play with a 6 on the river.

And this has been another edition of Bad Poker theater!

Ah! I have lost my breath at such forsaken awfulness! Three sixes indeed, a hand for the Anti-Christ! Badly done!

Ok, this one is mine, I'm afraid to say....

BP Tourney. In one of the blinds with A 10 suited. Middle position raises 4xBB. He's had the cards in the past. I call.

Flop comes Q A Q [EDIT: this is incorrect, the flop was Q 10 Q, sorry....] , with two spades I think. I act first, I bet half the pot or so....he raises 3X my bet, about half my stack.

So I think "if he has a queen, why not ride it out? Why would he try to drive me off?" I only call though for some stupid reason.

The turn is an ace. I go all in, he calls (I have him covered). He has ace queen of course. To make matters silly, a 10 comes on the river giving us both full houses.

Didn't think about the scare cards on the flop giving him reason to drive me off the hand (both straight and flush possibilities).

This may come as a surprise to you, but sometimes good poker players raise for "value", not becasue they are scared of things.
