I've been Tivo-ing Poker After Dark lately, and have been watching an interesting series this week. It's bunch of old school players from the old days of the Mayfair club...playing ultra tight (they folded the first 5-6 hands to the big blind). But it's been neat hearing their stories of the old days... The only players I recognized were Lederer, Zolotow, and Heimowitz.... what are the favorites out there? I can't stand to watch WPT for some reason....
mostly enjoy watching cash games as they may actually present an interesting hand occasionally and not just AK vs TT aipf for the 4th time in a 30 minute show.
aussie millions cash game, million dollar cash game, hsp
theres also a show called "the game", its in swedish but watching euros play intrigues me. http://www.pokertube.com/Movies.aspx?movie=4766&title=The_Game_S01E10_2_6__Swedish_&player=1&page=0&FreeText=the%20game%20s01&list=9 watching antonious play this hand is wowow
Family guy leans upon cultural references as a pathetic crutch. Show is written by talented people but if you want a funny cartoon with some actual originality...watch some old Sealab episodoes, or Aqua Teen.
